It may certainly take a while to evaluate. I think the 2026 election will be an excellent opportunity for the community to rate the system and let incumbents know what worked and what didn't.
It'll be interesting to revisit this two or four years from now. The theory is fine, but this premise -- "district winners – whether allies or foes – must work together to serve their constituents and increase their reelection chances" -- remains to be seen. Must they? There's a big difference between "running a successful proportional election" and governing in a proportional government.
